'I am throwing the ball' is a site specific work at the new British Embassy in Torre Espacio. Madrid, Spain.

It was commissioned for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office by the Government Art Collection, UK.

It connects the four internal floors of the Embassy with a specific designed illuminated glass stairwell. The artwork enhances the sense of direction and movement of the stairwell in a playful yet conceptual manner.
